Our Junior Primary program covers six foundational areas: English Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Arts & Creativity, and Life Skills. These areas are designed to build literacy, numeracy, critical thinking, and creativity at an early stage.
The standard fee of £165 / R3250 is billed monthly. However, parents may choose to pay per term or annually. Discounts may apply for upfront term or annual payments—please contact our admin team for details.
Yes. All essential digital learning resources, workbooks, and lesson materials are included in the fee. Optional printed materials and enrichment resources can be purchased separately if required.
Absolutely. Our programs are designed with flexibility in mind. Students may transition into our South African Curricula or British Curricula pathways as they advance, ensuring continuity in their academic growth.
For younger learners, parental guidance and support are essential. Parents assist with setting up lessons, encouraging participation, and helping children complete assignments. Our teachers provide clear instructions and regular feedback to make this process smooth for families.

Distance learning is where students are given material that they work through alone, and if they run into problems, they need to call a teacher for help. At Meridian Apex Scholars Academy, our students engage their teachers during live real-time interactive sessions according to a structured daily timetable.
Meridian Apex Scholars Academy has structured classes just like traditional schools. Our students interact and engage with teachers and other students in online classes in real time. Junior school: 8:00 to 12:45 Senior school: dependent on subjects taken
Meridian Apex Scholars Academy has four assessment cycles and issues 4 report cards. During each assessment cycle, parents are encouraged to monitor the progress of assessments done on a weekly basis and to engage teachers should they need to.

We are registered with the IEB in South Africa and with Pearson Edexcel in the UK. We partner with Tutors and Exams in the UK and South Africa. We are quality assured by IQAA, the independent quality assurance body in education.
Teachers interact with students during live lessons or through our user-friendly platform at any time.
Support at Meridian Apex Scholars Academy has two modes: Firstly, students can request assistance at any time from their teachers, and secondly, after analysis of assessments, teachers are proactive in putting in place extra lessons to address any gaps or deficits.
Meridian Apex Scholars Academy has an annual conference at the beginning of every year, which brings all our teachers together for a few days to learn about the latest trends in online teaching. Meridian Scholars also has ongoing training and development throughout the year for their teaching, with a focus on increasing student engagement during lessons.
Meridian Scholars focuses predominantly on building relationships with students during our live online lessons. Class sizes foster student engagement, and every child is understood by each of their teachers. We encourage a partnership with the parents, working together to optimise the students’ experience. Communication between parents and school is simple and highly effective. Meridian Scholars has a holistic approach to education and has five pillars that make up our schooling experience, which include the following: Meridian Learn, Meridian Social, Meridian Mind and Body, Meridian Values, and Beyond Meridian.
Fees are paid monthly. 10% discount for payment upfront for 12 months.
